More about "Evanui" Signature
Concept:
The word "Evanui" means "disappear" in Latin. We believe an audio equipment should aim to make its existence disappear by right. We have come back to the original point and done out utmost to realize a speaker of our dream. Now we take price in saying that the "Evanui "is the only speaker to feel live music performance.
Theory:
* A moving part is only the diaphragm.
* Signals (waveform) from an amplifier are straightly converted to diaphragm movement.
* The diaphragm makes piston movement faithfully.

Monologue by the designer:
Most likely, ViV driver used in the Evanui is the world first edgeless and damper-less unit. (I heard there is a prototype product by another designer using superconducting phenomenon.)
Those past edgeless speakers were configured by devising damper section resulting in having lost significant function such as seal damp peculiar to an edge.
In the Evanui, the edge is being replaced by viscous fluid just like engine oil as an image, eventually having removed only its side effects. I may rather better redefine this structure as "liquid damper and liquid edge" equipped driver.
Merits of Floating Diaphragm Mechanism (FDM) driver are considered to be inherent in two factors. One is avoidance of direct influences from edge damper such as that there exists no non-linear distortion derived from an edge and damper, that it is free from characteristic vibration, that it does not prevent minute vibration of a diaphragm, and that it is not affected by vibrations from baffle and driver frame.
Another is that sound leakage from the rear side (inside the enclosure) has drastically been reduced. It is easily imagined if an ordinary edged paper cone driver in an enclosure is replaced by a different speaker driver, considerable amount of sound is being leaked.
The Evanui has smaller diaphragm made of metal having no soft edge, so sound leakage is much less not to contaminate the sound. This is quite a big merit. That is also why its sensitivity is not so high, though it is mounted with ultra powerful magnetic circuit. You will not be fatigued even if you keep on listening the Evanui all day long.
